Hazen Bridge 301 CR2600N, Mahomet, IllinoisJoin us for a workday at the historic Hazen Bridge. We will mostly work on the grounds, cleaning and clearing. We will also attempt to improve the canoe launch point at the river. Some tools will be available for all, but please bring your own tools if you prefer.

Mudpuppies are a threatened species of salamander that sound like a puppy barking when on land. And, we have them right here in Monticello in the Sangamon River! Meet at the Sangamon River Corridor Reserve on Allerton Road, just west of the Monticello Golf Club, from 9:00-11:00 am. Interested volunteers need only bring a pair of work gloves and their drinking water or snacks, if desired. LCF will have any tools if necessary.

The Great Garlic Mustard Hunt 2019 will come to the Sangamon River Corridor Reserve on April 13 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Meet us at the parking lot on Allerton Road at 1:00 p.m. Bring work gloves and water/snacks.
