First Street, Champaign, IL 61820 A block of rooms under Prairie Rivers Network have been reserved at the I hotel if you plan to visit late into the night or are joining us from out of town. When: Friday, October 26, 2018 Reception – 6:00 pm – Enjoy our cocktail hour with complimentary wine and appetizers plus a silent auction. Dinner – 7:30 pm – Celebrate river conservation accomplishments, hear about our vision for the future, and enjoy an exciting talk about wildlife with our guest speaker. 2nd Annual Mudpuppy Festival

2nd Annual Mudpuppy Festival scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 1-4 pm at the Monarch Brewing Company in Monticello. Mudpuppies are a threatened species of salamander that sound like a puppy barking when on land. And, we have them right here in Monticello in the Sangamon River! We'll have trail maps available for the trails at Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site and other cool handouts. While you're there you can visit the shops on the square, grab a cool beverage at Hand of Fate Brewery, and stay for Captain Geech and Shrimp Shack Shooters in the evening.
